Bouy Zoo
 | This zoo can be found 10 minutes outside Ambert at Champétières.
There are some 400 animals from 60 species living in this 50-hectare park. Visitors follow the paths around the zoo and are greeted by lemurs and the Barbary apes. There are snow leopards, jaguars and pumas as well as the lesser known creatures, like the Himalayan Thars. You will also see Llamas, deer and fawn.
Every afternoon you can see activities with hawks, wolf cubs etc. and you can help feed the animals on some days too. |
